Using the Dashboard — A Complete Walkthrough
A tour of every dashboard surface, what each value means, where it comes from, and how to tell live data from development samples.
The dashboard is organised so that every number carries its provenance. This walkthrough covers each surface and the conventions shared across all of them.
Conventions that apply everywhere
Freshness. Every panel states when its data was generated upstream. If a payload is older than the configured freshness threshold, a staleness banner appears — the data is still shown, but explicitly marked historical.
Sample data. In development builds without a configured Intelligence Platform, panels render labelled sample data with a visible badge. Production never substitutes samples: if the upstream is unavailable, the panel says so.
Refusal over guessing. If upstream data violates the published contract, the panel reports a validation failure instead of rendering partial values.
Overview
Headline performance metrics plus the active signal feed and the currency strength ranking. Start here to see whether anything has changed since your last session.
Intelligence
The full signal feed with per-signal explanations, and multi-timeframe market structure per pair. Signals show direction, timeframe, confidence, issue and expiry times, and the methodology version that produced them.
Markets
Quotes with bid, ask, published spread, and 24-hour change, alongside market session status; plus headlines with the platform's sentiment and risk assessment.
Calendar
Upcoming releases with impact rating, forecast, previous, actual once released, and a countdown. Filters cover search, impact, and currency. Below the table, historical precedent statistics for recurring events — win rate, median and average move, sample size, and stated confidence.
Performance
Published aggregates: signals issued, hit rate, best and worst pairs, a rolling hit-rate chart, and a per-pair breakdown.
Charts
Candlestick or OHLC rendering with timeframe and pair selectors, plus optional overlays for published levels, signal markers, economic events, and market sessions. Every overlay is backend-published; the chart performs no analysis.

Key takeaways
- Every panel states its freshness and its source mode.
- Sample data is development-only and always labelled.
- Locked features never leak data to unentitled sessions.
